The next WWG meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 7:30pm at the VFW in Falls Church, Virginia.
The presentation will be Applying Architectural Drafting Techniques in Woodworking Design by Erica Frank.
The presentation will demonstrate how design and drafting concepts typical of the architectural design process can be useful when applied to woodworking. Topics include iterating designs using trace paper, some drafting and layout techniques, and a discussion of guiding design principles to consider.
Additionally, the presentation will cover an overview on how digital tools and 3D modeling can be a powerful aid when integrated into the design workflow.
