Shannon Rogers’ presentation for the January 18th meeting will discuss the basic elements of the saw tooth and what happens to the saw cut when you alter them. This applies to all saws no matter where they are from and who made them. Ideally it takes an abstract concept and makes it very real when you see how the saws actually perform in context.
Biography
Shannon is a wood nerd, nuff said. As a woodworker, furniture maker, podcaster, blogger, and teacher. As owner of The Hand Tool School, an online school teaching hand tools and techniques, Co-host of WoodTalk, the oldest woodworking podcast, and Director of Marketing for the oldest Lumber companies in the country, he really can’t stop talking about wood and the beautiful ways it can be used.
