The Washington Woodworkers Guild exhibited and did demonstrations of various woodworking skills and techniques at The Woodworking Show in Chantilly, Virginia from March 24 – March 26.  We had a great time meeting many new friends.  We hope you had a chance to visit us yourselves and join in the fun.  Here are some photos from our booth at the show.

  • Upcoming Speakers Mar 29 2017

Our April 2017 speaker is Don Nalezyty.  He is a spoon carver, but he carves other things and he uses green wood.

Our May 2017 speaker is Shannon Rogers, who hosts the popular podcast The Tool School (http://www.renaissancewoodworker.com/hand-tool-school-intro/)  This is the first virtual apprentice program designed to teach woodworkers and aspiring woodworkers of all levels how to work with hand tools.  He is a good presenter.  Check out some of his podcasts.  He lives in Maryland.
